Home Study Courses
ADAA workbook courses consist of written text and a post-test. To earn CE credits, the post-test is sent to the ADAA for grading. You keep the workbook for future reference.

Returns and Exchanges:
If you are not completely satisfied with your ADAA product, simply return it within 30 days, with your reason for return, and let us know if you want a replacement, refund, or an exchange. Materials must be received in salable condition and shipping prepaid. Upon return, a $8.00 charge will be assessed per order for restocking and handling. On orders of 3 or more courses, there will be a charge of $11.00 assessed. Courses prices are subject to change without notice. All foreign orders must be paid in US currency. Additional shipping charges will be applied to destinations outside the US.

Online Return Policy:Orders placed online are processed up to 36 hours after being placed. ADAA Online Courses are nonrefundable 24 hours after your credit card order has been processed; unprocessed orders may be cancelled at no cost. No refunds if any exam has been viewed or taken.

Continuing Education Credits
All ADAA courses are approved for continuing education credits by the Dental Assisting National Board and state dental boards for certification and registration renewal. Dental practice management courses are not approved for credit by the California Board of Dental Examiners. A second edition of a course will be accepted for credit even if you have already received credit for the first edition.

Tests*
Only tests for courses currently produced by the ADAA will be accepted for grading. Due to revision and updating of courses, we recommend that the courses be taken within a year of purchase. Only the original answer sheet will be accepted for grading - no photocopies allowed.
*Effective 1/1/2003 ADAA Test Grading fee is $10.00.

ADAA Fellowship & Mastership Programs
The ADAA offers a program developed to recognize those members who have achieved outstanding educational levels in their profession. The program offers two levels of recognition, Fellow and Master, based on educational hours obtained and continuous years of membership in the ADAA. In order to become a Fellow of the ADAA, one must have been a member for 3 continuous years and accrue 300 hours of continuing education credit. Those holding the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Certified Orthodontic Assistant, (COA), or Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant (COMSA) are eligible for course credit of 150 hours of the 300 hour Fellowship requirement. Those certified as a Certified Dental Practice Management Assistant (CDPMA) are eligible for course credit of 100 hours. RDA's (Registered Dental Assistant) from California, Michigan and Minnesota may receive 150 hours. An assistant may receive credit for either certification or registration, but not both. Course sponsors must be approved by Dental Assisting National Board, Academy of General Dentistry's National Sponsor Approval Program (NSAP)or ADA's sponsor approval program (CERP). 12 hours must be obtained through ADAA homestudy courses.
